I started the long overdue task of cleaning rust stains on the fiberglass near the stanchion bases. The rust stains were persistent after years of bleeding into the fiberglass. It took multiple applications of West Marin Stain Remover (an Oxalic acid product) -- apply/brush with toothbrush/rinse...repeat. Then clean & polish the stainless steel and fiberglass with Koenig spray polish. Finished by using Collinite FleetWax liquid on the fiberglass. One down, nine to go.
